Will the promised drop in taxes arrive next year in 2011 as a result of the free trade agreement between Thailand and Australia?
Hopefully this will make the price of an Australian wine about the same asĀ a French wine, French wines still have a tax incentive making them lower priced on the shelf, this ends next year as well, so what is the future of wines in Thailand?

If you are looking for this wine at great value, then Vientiane in Laos is the place to visit, at a mere 600THB a bottle as compared to 1,800THB in Thailand, this wine can be enjoyed both with the palette as well as the pocket.

Lazo Cabernet Sauvignon 2009, at 329 baht at Tesco Lotus this fruity red is quite good, whilst it is a lighter body style it is very palatable and a pleasure to drink. Best enjoyed with Red meats or a cheddar cheese.

Taras, Bin 421, I purchased this little gem from Tesco Lotus for just 428 baht, very peppery and a heavy Shiraz for the price, would recommend this as a daily drinker, thumbs up guys
